MICA

Kridha Laminates is the best mica manufacturer in India, with extensive experience and a wide distribution network. Our mica sheets are designed for interior furnishing applications that require a surface cover with an attractive appearance and strong protection for the layer beneath. Versatile options are provided for interior designers, homeowners, office spaces, and architects, with diverse combinations of colours, textures, patterns, and finishes. From kitchen cabinets to retail counters, we build mica for a wide scope of applications.

Decorative and Durable Mica Sheets

We use precision machinery in the process of making the mica sheets. The base of mica is formed by Kraft paper. Our mica has excellent impact resistance and structural strength. The Kraft paper gains its strength when soaked in the phenolic resin. Above the Kraft paper is a decorative layer that gives the mica its visual characteristics. Special pigments are used to print on a highly absorbent paper. We ensure the ink used in printing is compatible with the resin so that it doesn’t dissolve or lose its colour brilliance. The top overlay is a clear layer to protect the decor from scratches and stains. When the three layers are pressed under extreme heat and pressure, it forms a single mica sheet with rock-solid strength.

Producing Certified Grade Mica

We conform to the IS 2046:1995, Type S, HGS regulations in making our mica sheets. This demonstrates our high-quality standards as a dedicated mica manufacturer. Our sheets are tested under specific conditions to determine their ability to resist damaging factors. Scratch, impact, cracking, staining, colour change, steam, and surface wear are some of the enemies of furniture surfaces, and our mica is quality-approved to remain durable against them. It maintains dimensional stability at elevated temperatures.
